I like this photo because it reminds of a time when I was hopeful about what life had to offer. Before I thrust into the harsh world that puberty created and even more unforgiving galaxy that is adulthood, I was a bright eyed, sharply dressed kid who had a GREAT imagination and dreamed of being everything from a tennis player to an architect. Shame how the “Real World” blues slow but surely strips you of that childlike optimism. I’m on a quest to retrieve that feeling…

Who knew that something as small as a sports game would lead to this post? I’m a Lebron fan and I have been since college. My favorite NBA Players are Jordan, Allen Iverson, and Lebron James. There are tons of great players but I identify with the ones I mentioned for various reasons. Needless to say but whatever team Lebron plays on, I support. Simple enough right? My hometeam is the Philadelphia 76ers but I haven’t been a fan of them since A.I. was traded a few years ago. So again, since Lebron is my favorite player to watch, the Heat is my team of choice.

Now on twitter, people have their opinions and that’s alright with me because we are all individuals. But it bothers the hell of me when people assume that they know EVERYTHING about you. I guess its because I don’t divulge every aspect of my life for the world to see that every tid bit thats released becomes all that’s needed to know about who and what I am. And that’s with everybody. I’m nice and well mannered and people think that I can be talked to or treated any kind of way. I am a man first and foremost and if you cross me incorrectly, I will set that ass straight. I’m just not an asshole like I should be because maybe then people would finally get the picture.

Far too long people tried to tell me what I should and shouldn’t do. Fuck that. Let me cook out here. How I dress, the shoes I wear, type of Raybans I choose to rock, etc. Believe me, whatever I want to wear is my business family and bet I could pull an attractive, intelligent woman no matter what. For my opinion on a sports game to cause people to question me based off of a lack of information pretty much “George Bush’d the Button”. The worst mistake anybody could ever make is to think that they know me completely.

ASAAD, the Philadelphia up-and-comer I featured a couple weeks ago seems to have inked a deal with Re-Up Gang recently; a good move by Pusha and his people. Everyone knows Pusha is hungry for a good year in 2012, so hopefully we’ll see a lot of Ab-Liva and ASAAD as well.
